The Fox and Goose is a live music friendly pub, and musicians are welcome to turn up and play at any time. We have a regular music session on a Wednesday evening from about 9pm, with music styles from Bluegrass to Jazz and Old Time.
We also host Pennine Piperholics on the 2nd Thursday of each month, a self help group for local pipers to meet, play and swop tunes, problem solve and generally do what pipers do best- waffle on about bagpipes.
There are also occasional Irish sessions where local musicians meet and play "for the craic"
